(It's more like Alabama & Chocolate, now.)
Learning how to be a coach's wife, coupon queen, and how to live in the land of Roll Tide when my blood runs Tennessee Orange.
So ... I know I missed one week of the Ragamuffin Top Challenge because I was gone, and then this Sunday I was too jetlagged and busy to post anything. As you can see, I still haven't posted about my trip. It's coming. I think I'm just still processing ... and I've got a lot going on trying to get back into the swing of things. There's also something very exciting going on under the surface, but I'm not going to share it just yet. Suspense ... I love it! :)
Therefore, I'm going to do some retroactive blogging:
I weighed 175.6 on Monday morning before I went to see the nutritionist. Her scales weighed in at 175.25, so it's not much off this week.
Before I left I weighed 177.25, so I've lost, which surprises me because while I was gone I DID NOT do my food program. Well I did drink them warm lemon water most mornings and I brought my good cereal. So I tried a little bit.
OK, got to get to work ... I'm going to keep going ... my goal is 165. Only about 10 pounds left to go!!!
Time to get serious about this thing again and get those last 10 pounds OFF! :)
The lovely Ragamuffintop Challenge. I'm still in it, with my goal being to get down to 165 pounds.
I made this lovely video last night, but something very weird happened to the sound and the sound is now a few seconds faster than the video ... terrible! I'm so sorry, but I wanted to put the video on here anyway. At least you get to see my face and not just read about it. Last week was my first confessional-type video, and I think I've warmed up to the idea of doing these. :)
Check out how much I lost this week ...
WOOHOO!!! I'm still making progress ... even though I'm worried that this week I'll have trouble sticking to my plan while in Jakarta.
Check out how the other Ragamuffintoppers are doing and go cheer them on!
Me at the wedding, two dress sizes down from where I started!
So, I've officially joined the Ragamuffintop Challenge and I'm posting my very first video of myself talking to YOU my readers. I'm such an introvert and this is something I never thought I would do, but who cares? It will only have a life span of forever. Just think how grateful my grandchildren will be when they can one day see Grandma at age 27 talking about weight loss. I'm thinking about the future generations here.
You can read about the rules here. You should join. Yeah, you ... get up off the couch. Go over to Ragamuffin Soul and join the challenge.
I was already losing weight when this came along and I'm doing pretty well, but I think giving me even more motivation to keep losing and keep the weight off is even better. The more the merrier, right? (Already motivating me is my nutritionist, whom I see twice a week, and the bridesmaid's dress I have to fit in on Saturday. It fits, but I'd like to be a little smaller.)
OK, so here's the video for week 1. It's not fancy or anything and I forgot to have my makeup artist come over and help me out ... so you get me making a video while organizing and packing for my Jakarta trip next week.
Weight today: 180 (That was my weight this morning, but I didn't video it - so the video shows my night weight, which is higher. I'll do the video in the morning next time. Promise.)
