The aforementioned favorite blogger will be on L.A. Ink tomorrow night 10.2.07.
It's on TLC and I think it's late, like 10 or something. Check your local listings.
My favorite people come back TONIGHT!!!!!!!
I've never been much of a YouTube user. I've just never gotten into the addiction, but it's now on my iPhone and I was just browsing through it today and came across this amazing footage from about three months ago. Take a look:
Wow! I cried ... seriously. I love it when God-given talents are realized and people get to use their gifts. That's one of the coolest things to watch in life. Enjoy!
Every Thursday here during American Idol season, and especially on the day of the finale, we (my roommate Bo and I) must resort to extreme measures in order to remain in the dark. We warn people ahead of time not to talk about it. We don't surf the Web or read anyone's blogs. We don't read our e-mail. We DO NOT want to know the winner. And it never fails that someone
tries to tell us. So, this year, Bo opted for the safest way of not knowing ... donning a sign. :) People think we're weird, but we don't really care!
Congrats Jordin! I called it many weeks ago. Melinda and Lakisha were great, but I knew America wouldn't go for either of them. And Blake just wasn't a good enough singer ... AND he didn't seem to want it that much.
Unfortunately all of the hubbub gave away the results before the show came on here, but I was still sooooo excited to see this guy go home! BYE SANJAYA! Thank you Lord.
My favorite scene from Grey's this week:
That's my favorite quote from AI this week. There are few shows that I LOVE and watch faithfully every week. Well, there are two: Grey's Anatomy and American Idol.
And this week I was pumped. Two nights of television entertainment. My favorites ...
When this girl said, "American Idol is my BFF," I nearly lost it. Actually I was in tears rolling on the floor. So, I did kind of lose it. But, I just thought she was terribly representative of all stereotypes I have ever had for the Midwest. Terribly stereotypical and terribly funny.
And then there was the voice coach who couldn't sing and Randy gave him the hardest time. But the funniest part was Simon egging the guy on, telling him not to take Randy's criticism. Ahahahahahaha.
And finally: The Hotness. My Indonesian roommate looked at me at this part and asked, "do these people really believe what they are saying?" Yes, dear, they do and that is what is so incredibly tragic about this show. Ahahahahaha.
But my FAVORITE part of the show, the line that put me in stitched every time was ... drumroll please .... "other door." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I think they did that sooo on purpose and it was perfect. Absolutely hysterical. :)
Other than the entertainment factor, I love that most everyone at school watches it faithfully. Here it's shown on Wednesday and Thursday nights (so please, no spoilers) and when we walk into school on Thursday and Friday, we are always talking about what happened the night before. We crack up in the teacher's lounge rehashing what went on the night before. And when the kids come in, they always ask, "Ms. Laura, did you watch it last night?" And we share that commonality of entertainment. It bonds us and for that reason alone I would watch the show. Cheesy, I know.

When Apple came out with iTunes 7 I was slightly hesitant to switch over. I had read a few esteemed Mac blogs about glitches, lost songs, etc. I also read on other blogs about how great it was. Soooo, although torn, I downloaded it a couple days ago. I LOVE the new album view ... so cute. And although I am pretty sure I could download TV shows before, I finally took a browse through the TV show section. I selected one TV show ... an old favorite: Survivor. I was especially intrigued by the racial division element. After two days of downloading the first episode, thanks to the third-world country internet speed, I finally watched it yesterday. I thoroughly enjoyed watching a TV show on my computer and I also loved the show! It's going to be a good one, although I'll have to steer clear of the internet for a few days while my episode downloads since I don't want to read any spoilers! Fun times ... :)
